This litho pinback is from the 1930s and has a cartoon drawing of Jiggs from Bringing Up Father. Bringing Up Father was a very popular cartoon that was drawn by George McManus starting in 1913 (and would run for 87 years). Jiggs was one of the two main characters (the other was Maggie). It measures 7/8″ across and is in very good condition with a few minor marks on close inspection. It is marked #35 (from a set of cartoon pinbacks) and states “Jiggs / Bringing Up Father by Geo. McManus”. It is marked around the curl “Western Theatre Premium Co. / Los Angeles”.

This litho pinback is from the 1930s and has a cartoon drawing of Jiggs from Bringing Up Father. Bringing Up Father was a very popular cartoon that was drawn by George McManus starting in 1913 (and would run for 87 years). Jiggs was one of the two main characters (the other was Maggie). It measures 7/8″ across and is in very good condition with a few minor marks on close inspection. It is marked #35 (from a set of cartoon pinbacks) and states “Jiggs / Bringing Up Father by Geo. McManus”. It is marked around the curl “Western Theatre Premium Co. / Los Angeles”. It may have been a give-away at a movie theatre.
