This phot0 pinback shows the German Light Cruiser Karlsruhe. Apparently it visited Portland, Oregon in 1932 during one of its’ world training cruises. The Karlsruhe was launched in 1927, but would be sunk in the early days of WWII (April 9, 1940 off Norway). It measures 1 1/4″ across and is in good condition, but there are some small foxing spots in the field.

This phot0 pinback shows the German Light Cruiser Karlsruhe. Apparently it visited Portland, Oregon in 1932 during one of its’ world training cruises. The Karlsruhe was launched in 1927, but would be sunk in the early days of WWII (April 9, 1940 off Norway). It measures 1 1/4″ across and is in good condition, but there are some small foxing spots in the field. The backpaper is for the “The Irwin xxx Company / Celluloid Buttons & Novelties / Portland Oregon.”
