Charles Evans Hughes ran for the presidency as a Republican in 1916. He lost to Woodrow Wilson by a small majority. This small pinback has the words “Hughes Penna. Alliance” in RWB. The pinback measures 5/8″ across and is in very good condition except it is centered slightly to the left. There is no backpaper but a union bug does appear on the front.
