In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607 (300 year anniversary). Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt. This pinback was a tourist souvenir from the exposition. It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.
This rare New Jersey pinback measures 1 1/4″ across and the blue ribbon is 1 1/2″ long. Both the ribbon and pinback are in very good condition. The pinback has the words “Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition New Jersey”

In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607 (300 year anniversary). Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt. This pinback was a tourist souvenir from the exposition. It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.
This rare New Jersey pinback measures 1 1/4″ across and the blue ribbon is 1 1/2″ long. Both the ribbon and pinback are in very good condition. The pinback has the words “Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition New Jersey”. The backpaper is Whitehead & Hoag Philadelphia Office (unusual backpaper). This item was from the Ira Reed Collection and is photographed in his 1907 Jamestown Exposition Price Guide (that was published around 2007 – 400 year celebration). I will have over 30 Jamestown Expositions to post on my website.
