Policies and Terms

The next sections will describe the terms and conditions of use of the website and your purchases. I hope you will forgive me for the legalize but I want to minimize misunderstandings and make sure that all parties know the terms prior to purchase. Collecting should be fun.

Payment Methods
I will accept payment by Paypal, credit card, money orders, cashier’s checks, and personal checks. Purchases paid by check will not be mailed until the check clears my bank. Check payments are due within 7 calendar days of placing your order. Large dollar purchases by credit card or Paypal may be limited until I know the purchaser.
If you would like to give a gift certificate to someone special, I will make special arrangements for these customers.
I will not tolerate any fraudulent credit card or check transactions. I will take all necessary steps to prosecute fraudulent transactions.

Quantity Discounts
If you will be purchasing large dollar items ($250 or more) or a large quantity of items, please contact me by phone or email. I will determine if I can provide a discount on your purchase.

My items are offered at a fair price. I may change prices at times to reflect the market for selected items. Once you place your order, the price will not change. You have 7 calendar days to provide payment or reject the order. If I have not heard from the buyer by the end of the 7-day period, the item will be available to other collectors to purchase.

Return Policy
I will attempt to provide an accurate description for every item; however, the descriptions reflect my knowledge and opinion and as such, items are sold “as is”. With that said, If I have misrepresented any item, you can return the item for a full refund. The item must be returned in the same condition as mailed and within 7 calendar days of receipt.
Although grading of collectibles and antiques is subjective, I am a fair grader of condition. As stated above, I will note any damage to the item in the description to the best of my ability.

Protecting Your Information
I understand that your personal information is valuable to you. As such, I will protect your information (credit card, want lists, mailing addresses, phone numbers, etc.) and it will not be shared with anyone. I believe in confidentially of your information as well as mine. In the event of a security breach, I will only be responsible for the value of the items purchased by the buyer and no additional legal remedies are available to the buyer behind the value of these items.

Shipping Costs
When you place your order, I will provide you with the shipping, postage and insurance cost (if applicable). My goal is to breakeven on shipping, postage and insurance costs and to not overcharge for these costs. For example, the shipping costs for a few pinback buttons will be less than the shipping costs for several thick books. I will only ship within the United States. I wish to apologize to any collectors outside of the United States who may wish to purchase items. I will make a run to the post office at least twice per week.

Sales Tax
To conform with California State Law, I will charge 9% sales tax for California customers only. If you have a valid California resale license and provide the necessary information, I will not need to charge sales tax on your purchases. Please contact me regarding your California resale license.
