Willkie would lose his bid for President in 1940, but Republican Dwight Green became Governor of Illinois (in a backlash against New Deal reforms) and Charles Brooks would become a US Senator from Illinois. It measures 4 3/8″ and is in very good condition.

This colorful RWB and black sticker states “Brooks Willkie Green” and was issued for the 1940 Republican campaign. Willkie would lose his bid for President in 1940, but Republican Dwight Green became Governor of Illinois (in a backlash against New Deal reforms) and Charles Brooks would become a US Senator from Illinois. It measures 4 3/8″ and is in very good condition. There is a union bug at the bottom of the sticker.
