The bottom part is marked “Order of Owls” and has three owls with an enameled “O”. It was made by Whitehead and Hoag and the design is patented Aug. 10, 1907 (on the back). The badge is in nice condition.

Order of the Owls is an actual fraternal organization that was founded in 1904. The 1920s was the high water mark for the organization with over 600,000 members. The top part of the badge has the organizations saying “There is so much bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us …” The bottom part is marked “Order of Owls” and has three owls with an enameled “O”. It was made by Whitehead and Hoag and the design is patented Aug. 10, 1907 (on the back). The badge is in nice condition.
