Buffalo and bison collectors – here is an attractive celluloid stud with a drawing of a bison and the words “Bison Cycles.” Riding bicycles was extremely popular in the United States in the 1890s to early 1900s as it also served as a method of cheap transportation and entertainment. Most of the major bicycle companies made their own studs advertising their product. (pre 1896). This stud measures 3/4″ across and is in very good condition.

Buffalo and bison collectors – here is an attractive celluloid stud with a drawing of a bison and the words “Bison Cycles.” Riding bicycles was extremely popular in the United States in the 1890s to early 1900s as it also served as a method of cheap transportation and entertainment. Most of the major bicycle companies made their own studs advertising their product. (pre 1896). This stud measures 3/4″ across and is in very good condition. The manufacturer’s name is marked on the stud back “Baldwin & Gleason NY.”
