This souvenir cover was from the 1956 Olympic Games which were held in Melbourne, Australia. These Olympic Games were held from November 22 through December 8th. The envelope has the Olympic meter stamp (at the post office) and a postage stamp issued to commemorate the games. The envelope measures 3 5/8″ by 6 1/2″ and is in very good condition. A name appears in pencil along the lower right. It is difficult to find collectibles from the Olympics in Australia.
