This token is marked “Championship Dempsey Gibbons / Shelby, Mont. Oil City /July 4, 1923”. The brass colored token is in fine condition with a hole at the top (as made for wearing). It measures 1 1/4″ across. Jack Dempsey won the fight in 15 rounds over Tom Gibbons with an unanimous decision. A nice example of early boxing memorabilia.
