In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607 (300 year anniversary). Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt. This pinback was a tourist souvenir from the exposition. It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.
This rare Kansas City Booster one day event pinback measures 2 1/16″ across and is in good condition except for foxing along the edge. It has the words “I am a Kansas City Booster Jamestown Exposition September 4th 1907”.

This rare Kansas City Booster one day event pinback measures 2 1/16″ across and is in good condition except for foxing along the edge. It has the words “I am a Kansas City Booster Jamestown Exposition September 4th 1907”. The backpaper is Whitehead & Hoag. This item was from the Ira Reed Collection and is photographed in his 1907 Jamestown Exposition Price Guide (that was published around 2007 – 400 year celebration). I will have over 30 Jamestown Expositions to post on my website.
