Here is an all metal advertising stud with the words “The Dayton Bicycle.” Riding bicycles was extremely popular in the United States in the 1890s to early 1900s as it also served as a method of cheap transportation and entertainment. Most of the major bicycle companies made their own studs advertising their product. (pre 1896). This stud measures 3/4″ across and is in very good condition.

1890s Dayton Bicycle Advertising Stud
Here is an all metal advertising stud with the words “The Dayton Bicycle.” Riding bicycles was extremely popular in the United States in the 1890s to early 1900s as it also served as a method of cheap transportation and entertainment. Most of the major bicycle companies made their own studs advertising their product. (pre 1896). This stud measures 3/4″ across and is in very good condition. The manufacturer’s name is marked on the stud back but I can’t read the name.
