In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607 (300 year anniversary). Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt. This pen knife was a tourist souvenir from the exposition. It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.
This rare metal pen knife measures 3 1/16″ long and is in good condition. Both blades will extend from the pen knife. It has the words “Greetings from Jamestown Exposition, Norfolk, VA 1607 – 1907” on the front. On the back is the Auditorium and Hall of Congresses.

1907 Jamestown Exposition (300 years) Pen Knife

In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607  (300 year anniversary).  Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt.  This pen knife was a tourist souvenir from the exposition.  It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.

This rare metal pen knife measures 3 1/16″ long and is in good condition.  Both blades (which have some wear) will extend from the pen knife.  It has the words “Greetings from Jamestown Exposition, Norfolk, VA 1607 – 1907” on the front.  On the back is the Auditorium and Hall of Congresses.   This item was from the Ira Reed Collection and is photographed in his 1907 Jamestown Exposition Price Guide (that was published around 2007 – 400 year celebration).   I will have over 30 Jamestown Expositions to post on my website.
