Here is a BPOE (Elks fraternal organization) ribbon for lodge #431 in Skagway, Alaska. I will date this ribbon to the 1920s. It is difficult to find older ribbons from Alaska, especially Skagway. The 1920 population in Skagway was less than 500. The ribbon measures 1 7/8″ by 7 1/4″ and is good condition with a few minor creases.

Here is a BPOE (Elks fraternal organization) ribbon for lodge #431 in Skagway, Alaska. I will date this ribbon to the 1920s. It is difficult to find older ribbons from Alaska, especially Skagway. The 1920 population in Skagway was less than 500. Skagway is very beautiful so visit the area if you have a chance. The ribbon measures 1 7/8″ by 7 1/4″ and is good condition with a few minor creases. The gold letters are light against the purple background.
