It is marked “Golden Anniversary / New York News Charities”. The ribbon measures 3 1/4″ long and is in very good condition. Many famous boxers were in the Golden Gloves tournaments over the years.

This Official’s badge/ribbon is from the 1976 Golden Gloves amateur boxing tournament. The 1st tournament was held by the Chicago Tribune in 1926. It is marked “Golden Anniversary / New York News Charities”. The ribbon measures 3 1/4″ long and is in very good condition. Many famous boxers were in the Golden Gloves tournaments over the years. The manufacturer’s name appears on the back of the small attachment: “Dieges & Clost / New York.”
