This ribbon is from a reunion of the Ninth Michigan Infantry in Springport, Michigan on September 25th to 26th, 1918 (the Golden Jubilee would cover 1868 to 1918). The Ninth Michigan saw some action during the war but did not suffer the tremendous loss of life like other Union regiments. It measures 4 1/8″ long and is in good condition except for a fold near the bottom of the ribbon. The metal piece at the top shows the American Eagle holding two flags.
