1907 Jamestown Exposition (300 years) Red & White Flag Pin

In 1907, a large fair/exposition was held in Jamestown, Virginia to celebrate the founding of Jamestown in 1607  (300 year anniversary).  Lots of dignitaries attended the event, including Teddy Roosevelt.  This pin was a tourist souvenir from the exposition.  It is estimated that 3 million people visited the exposition.

This enameled flag shaped pin measures approximately 1″ by 1″ and is in very good condition except that the stickpin on the back is missing.  It has red and white enameling with the words “1607 / 1907 Jamestown Exposition”.  This flag pin displays nicely.  This item was from the Ira Reed Collection and is photographed in his 1907 Jamestown Exposition Price Guide (that was published around 2007 – 400 year celebration).   I will have over 30 Jamestown Expositions to post on my website.  Due to the missing stickpin, the price is only $12.50.

Shipping for this item only is $3.50 as I use a secure shipping box to protect the pin. If you are purchasing multiple items, I will calculate shipping on your total purchase based upon weight and size to save you shipping costs.
