This litho pinback is from the 1930s and has a cartoon drawing of Skeezix from Gasoline Alley. Gasoline Alley was a very popular cartoon that was drawn by Frank King starting in 1918 (and is still appearing today – but the characters were allowed to age). It measures 7/8″ across and is in very good condition with a minor mark to the right of Skeezix’s nose. It is marked #50 (from a set of cartoon pinbacks) and states “Skeezix / Gasoline Alley by King”. It is marked around the curl “Western Theatre Premium Co. / Los Angeles”.

1930s Skeezix Gasoline Alley Cartoon Los Angeles Pinback

This litho pinback is from the 1930s and has a cartoon drawing of Skeezix from Gasoline Alley.  Gasoline Alley was a very popular cartoon that was drawn by Frank King starting in 1918 (and is still appearing today – but the characters were allowed to age).    It measures 7/8″ across and is in very good condition with a minor mark to the right of Skeezix’s nose.  It is marked #50 (from a set of cartoon pinbacks) and states “Skeezix / Gasoline Alley by King”.   It is marked around the curl “Western Theatre Premium Co. / Los Angeles”.  It may have been a give-away at a movie theatre.
