Boys Brigade Catalina Camp Pinback 1910

$40.00

The Boys Brigade was founded in the United States in the 1880s. It was more religious based than the Boy Scouts. When the Boy Scouts was founded in February 1910, the Boys Brigade lost out to the Boy Scouts. Here is a rare pinback from the Boys Brigade from 1910. The Boys Brigade had a camp on Catalina Island, off the coast of Long Beach, California. I have 3 different pinbacks from the camp on Catalina Island which are all rare and all date to the 1910 – 1911 period. This pinback measures 1 1/4″ across and has some foxing spots. The backpaper is W.H. Hoegee / Los Angeles. Even with the spots, this is a rare piece and will sell for $40.00.
