This photo pinback shows a cute girl with a large bow in her hair sitting in front of three owls. The caption below the girl is “The Owls Protect Me”. The pinback measures 1″ across and is in good condition, but there are a few spots along the lower edge from 3 o’clock to 7 o’clock. The spots do not detract from the great design. The following name is on the curl “Geo. Lauterer / Madison St. / Chicago” and there is a union bug marked in the metal on the back. I would date this pinback circa 1905.
