Helms Bakery Culver City California Pinback 1940s

Helms Bakery operated in Culver City, California from 1931 to 1969.  Helms operated delivery trucks throughout Los Angeles.  This pinback states “Helms / Bread Energy for Vitality / Olympic”.  Helms became the official bakery for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, so they used the word “Olympic” in their advertisements.  The pinback measures 1 3/4″  by 2 3/4″ and is in very good condition.  The pinback is marked in the curl “Los Angeles Rubber Company.”  I would date this pinback to the late 1930s or 1940s
