Here is the pinback for the Illinois Homecoming Game in 1951 vs the Iowa Hawkeyes. Illinois won the football game 40 to 13. Illinois had a record of 9 wins, no losses and 1 zero-to-zero tie with Ohio State and Illinois would win the Rosebowl in 1952 against Stanford. It shows Chief Illiniwek (who has recently been replaced as the university’s mascot). This pinback measures 2 1/8″ by 3″ and is in excellent condition.

Here is the pinback for the Illinois Homecoming Game in 1951 vs the Iowa Hawkeyes. Illinois won the football game 40 to 13. Illinois had a record of 9 wins, no losses and 1 zero-to-zero tie with Ohio State and Illinois would win the Rosebowl in 1952 against Stanford. It shows Chief Illiniwek (who has recently been replaced as the university’s mascot). This pinback measures 2 1/8″ by 3″ and is in excellent condition. The manufacturer’s name (located in Chicago) appears on the curl but I cannot read the name.
