Robert La Follette was an active politician. He would serve as the Governor of Wisconsin as well as both the US Senate and House of Representatives. In 1924, he would run for the presidency under the Progressive Party banner. He would die in 1925. In 1928 a park would be dedicated in Wisconsin. This pinback was from the dedication and shows a bust of La Follette. This colorful pinback measures 1 3/8″ and is in good condition with minor wear that shows under close inspection.  An example was sold at a Hakes auction in 2008 for $69.58 and was listed by Hakes as rare.

Robert La Follette was an active  politician.  He would serve as the Governor of Wisconsin as well as both the US Senate and House of Representatives.  In 1924, he would run for the presidency under the Progressive Party banner.  He would die in 1925.  In 1928 a park would be dedicated in Wisconsin.  This pinback was from the dedication and shows a bust of  La Follette.  This colorful pinback measures 1 3/8″ and is in good condition with minor wear that shows under close inspection.  The pinback is marked on the back “Geraghty & Company / Chicago” with two union bugs.    An example was sold at a Hakes auction in 2008 for $69.58 and was listed by Hakes as rare.
