This multi-color pinback commemorates the sinking of the Maine Battleship in Havana, Cuba on February 15, 1898 with the war slogan “Remember the Maine”. The war with Spain would begin two months after the sinking. The pinback measures 1 1/4″ across and is in very good condition. The backpaper is from Whitehead & Hoag and is also marked around the curl.
