Small Anti-FDR I Wanna Be a Captain Too Pinback 1940

$9.00

Wendell Willkie’s 1940 Presidential Campaign generated many anti-FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) pinbacks. This one states “I Wanna Be a Captain Too”. The slogan is related to Elliot Roosevelt (FDR’s son) getting a Captain’s commission in the Army which many believed was unfair. This white and blue pinback is the smaller 7/8″ version (which is harder to find) and is in excellent condition.
