Here is a give-away from Sweet Caporal Cigarettes (marked on the metal back). Sweet Caporal is famous for making baseball cards and baseball pinbacks as give-aways with their cigarettes. The US Flag is inset into a small metal frame which measures 3/4″ by 15/16″ and has an easel back. Celluloid covers the flag design. I would date this flag design to the early 1900’s.

Here is a give-away from Sweet Caporal Cigarettes (marked on the metal back). Sweet Caporal is famous for making baseball cards and baseball pinbacks as give-aways with their cigarettes. The US Flag is inset into a small metal frame which measures 3/4″ by 15/16″ and has an easel back. Celluloid covers the flag design. There may have been flags for other countries but this is the first one that I have seen of this type. I would date this flag design to the early 1900’s.
