These covers were made to commemorate the crash of the USS Macon Airship on February 12, 1935. One was mailed from Opa Locka, Florida and the second was mailed from Lakehurst, NJ.  Lakehurst, New Jersey is famous for the crash of the Hindenburg airship on May 6, 1937. The covers measure 3 5/8″ by 6 1/2″ and are in good condition. The price is $15.00 for both covers.

These covers were made to commemorate the destruction of the USS Macon Airship on February 12, 1935.  One was mailed from Opa Locka, Florida (where the airship landed on April 22, 1934) and the second was mailed from Lakehurst, NJ (where the airship landed in June 24, 1933).  Lakehurst, New Jersey is famous for the crash of the Hindenburg airship on May 6, 1937.  The covers measure 3 5/8″  by  6 1/2″ and are in good condition.  The price is $15.00 for both covers.
