Here is an amazing one-of-a-kind piece of American Folk Art. A framed quilt from 1843:
In the corner it is marked: Charles Young / Mechanicsburg / Cumberland County, PA /1843 / Susan (My assumption is that Susan made this quilt for Charles Young, perhaps at birth).
The quilt is in excellent condition. The dimensions of the quilt are 20 inches by 40 inches. The quilt may have been cut down or it was made for a baby.
